Recognized as a “Model” Academy by the National Career Academy Coalition, The Academy of Medical Sciences (AMS) prepares students for employment or advanced training in health occupations. Students are exposed to a wide variety of medical professions and a solid academic curriculum including National Industry Certification. Hands-on training at Turner Tech is conducted in our well-equipped simulation labs. Opportunities are offered through internships, On-the-Job Training (OJT), and Summer Outreach Programs at medical offices, pharmacies and local hospitals such as University of Miami, Jackson Health Systems, Miami Children’s Hospital, Baptist Health Systems and Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. College credit is offered via articulation agreements and multiple industry-recognized certifications in more than one field.
